Positional Thinking

Positional Chess Can be best learned with the positions provided by Great Player Sir Bent Larsen in his book "Find the Plan". It is said that Magnus Carlsen followed this book seriously and rest is history. There are only limited positions in this book but these are sufficient to make you a great positional player. Take your own time (hours) to plan deeply in each position and then only compare your solutions with the given ones.

Position 1:
 (Black to move and win)

Position 2:
 (White to move and win)

Position 3:
 (White to move and win)

Position 4:
 (White to move and win)

Position 5:
 (White to move and win)

Position 6:
 (White to move and win)
